Somebody recommend me a book?
I need a new book, but I havent found anything appealing lately. I love George Orwell, Ive read most of the classics although my favorite novel would have to be The Secret History by Donna Tartt... Not so much the thriller aspect but the Greek history and culture that was intertwined with it.

For some unfathomable reason that last sentence made me want to dance at the edge of a cliff. I am beginning to see why psychologists seem to dislike me. brbrI would suggest Brave New World or Fahrenheit if you havent read them already, mainly because I would suggest them to absolutely everyone. brbrPersonally I love Mercedes Lackey. She writes the best fantasy Ive ever had the good fortune to come across. Other fantasy authors I enjoy include Robin McKinley her book Sunshine is the vampire novel Twilight can only wish it was and Terry Pratchett. brbrIm not a Dean Koontz fan, but my mother is that sounds like a bad joke and I really enjoyed Seize the Night and Fear Nothing by him. Your mention of George Orwell made me think of them. brbrWater for Elephants, The Kite Runner and A Thousand Splendid Suns are all currently popular books that I personally thought were extremely good. Carl Hiaasen also writes popular literature that I enjoyed recommended to me by my dear old grandmother, who assured me that the sex scenes were absolutely hilarious.
