Simple question. What has been the most biggest historical moment that has happened in your lifetime?
Answer
The Vietnam conflicts escalation and resolution. It changed American politics and the economy. We started to view our presidents differently and our relationship with the press changed a great deal. It also ushered in a new level of divisive politics of fear and hatred. It was an open wound and we really havent recovered from it. It was not a single event, but rather the perversion of our government and its responsibility to the people and it was uncovered. A long and destructive process.
